Born in Pensacola, FL, Dr. Tom Roberts enjoys the many benefits of growing up in a values-based community, bound together by deep family roots. Dr. Tom graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in December of 1984. He returned to Pensacola to practice with his father.
He has been Board Certified to practice chiropractic since 1985. He resides in Pensacola with his wife, Pam and their three children, Christina Roberts, RN, Thomas Roberts, EMT and Remington Roberts. He presently resides with his family on Perdido Bay.
Professional activities include being a Knight and a longtime Centurion of the Century Club for the Florida Chiropractic Association. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, The Florida Chiropractic Association and the Northwest Florida Chiropractic Society. He is an Alumnus of the Texas Chiropractic College and a long-standing member of the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Tom is certified to practice Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA). He is credentialed to perform these procedures at the Corner Stone Surgicare in Pensacola, FL and Surgcenter Pinellas Largo, FL. He is certified in rating permanent impairment using the AMA's guides to the evaluations of permanent impairment sixth edition. He has studied and completed three modules of Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology program with The Spine Research Institute of San Diego. He has a certificate of completion in the Department of Transportation for evaluations for Department of Transportation licensor. He is certified in the prescription of proprietary drugs. He has a certification for the prescription of proprietary drugs.
Dr. Tom is a leader in the community. He has served as an executive board member of the Escambia County Marina Recreation Committee. He was chairman for the Pensacola Chapter of Ducks Unlimited for 3 years. He also is a 20-year sponsor of Ducks Unlimited. He has served as Chairman to the United Way, representing the Northwest Florida Chiropractic Society. He has served as Dock Chairman, and was an 8-year member of the Pensacola Big Game Fishing Club. He has sponsored local athletic teams, and is one of the team physicians for a local high school. He has had the pleasure of working with many Olympic, college, and professional athletes. He is a 15-year member of the Navy League of Pensacola. Dr. Tom and his family are members of Perdido Bay United Methodist Church.
Dr. Tom is an avid outdoorsman. He has had the opportunity to hunt, fish, and scuba dive all over the world. Some of the areas he has visited include: Mexico, Columbia, Argentina, Canada, U.S., Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, The Bahamas, and many places in the United States. He also owns and operates The Cache'n-In-Duck Club & Big DeView Duck Club in McCrory, Arkansas.
